1943 byf arrived

After being out of the K98k game for quite a few years, I just purchased a walnut stocked, 1943 byf, matching numbers. I'll still probably look for a K98k shooter, such as a Russian capture to take to the shooting range.
How does this one look? More pictures added. Does the barrel look like a replacement? I had the seller check, and there is no duffle cut.

You can't just tease us with a matching byf 43 in walnut and only post pics, post some more! From what it looks like, it looks like a nice early byf 43.

How does this one look? More pictures added. Does the barrel look like a replacement?

what makes you think the barrel may have been replaced?

I received this rifle today. It is quite nice. All serial numbers match on metal, stock, and handguard. I paid $1500 for it shipped.

Nice looking one. I wonder what the marking is on the front of the front sight base? The barrel looks right for a byf, it was just made 1 year before the receiver. It could have been sitting around in a shop. Barrel marking looks just like my byf.
