A nice, matching BYF 44

Picked this up from another member the other week, and it finally came in. This is the first matching K98k I've ever owned, but I've always wanted to pick one up. I just didn't know enough to ID them at a show, haha! Figured buying off the forum would be easier. Overall it's a very nice condition rifle, with a stock that would be perfect if not for the duffle cut. The repair seems solid, so I'll take it out shooting at some point. Overall I'm super happy with this one!

Appreciate the replies guys! I'm really happy with this! Years ago when I was a brand new collector I bought what I thought was a really nice matching 98k out of an older collection for dirt cheap ($350). It ended up being a restored, renumbered sporter, and after that it made nervous to really dive in. Luckily everyone here is super helpful and I felt comfortable enough buying this one from another member.
