Here is another one I scooped up at the SOS this year. Got it from a guy walking around the show. He wasn't really up to date on prices so got it for a good price.

More then likely Mrfarb will try to buy it from me since he wants to own all the bcd45 rifles. But not this one. Goes good in my growing 1945 collection. Enjoy

Dang I guess I'm just gonna camp by the door next year, that's what 3 or 4 that came through for various forum members? Nice rifle, those pantograph markings are Brunn-esque

Another excellent pickup from the show. I really like that rough router job on the bolt cutout as well as the overall rough stock. AND another deal to boot! Good stuff.

4…3…2…1….. and he sold it. 😏

Fantastic rifle, I absolutely love that bolt shroud.

If anyone has a spare gnarly bolt shroud they'd like to part with, please send me a PM.

I'd have to look at Bruce's book :ROFLMAO:, but those marks are from something more like what in the US we would call a Blanchard Lathe. I know I am probably splitting hairs that no one even cares about but, there is a difference between a pantograph and other machinery used. Regardless, the machine marks are great!

Gotcha, not sure where I remember reading or seeing it but I often see it referred to as that, even though videos clearly show a copying lathe as you say.

Great looking Rifle but it is in the wrong hands , a BCD45 really needs to be in the hands of a true Late War Collector , not a Sniper Collector . ;)
You know what, you completely abandoned us at the SOS this year. So you don't get to comment on such things. We had to eat steak without you.
