Have this Hi-Power and a couple mags, non Waffenamt one was what initially came with it, I picked the other up later. Is either proper for the “a” block range? TIA

Is one more correct than the other?
The “more correct” magazine would be the crude non-marked mag. Lots of machine marks, both mag body and floor plate blued.

WaA103 mags were earlier Tangent sight pistols.

Not sure where the “square 7” stamp falls.

My source is FN Browning Pistols, Anthony Vanderlinden, pages 323-325.

Blue mag body with machine marks, aluminum follower, blued “tail” floorplate. Markings can range from WaA140 to “U” to unmarked. Some of these mag bodies may have other inspector letters such as a “c” or A in a box. The latter is more indicative of Belgian production though Belgian mag bodies, pre-war and immediate post, were parkerized. As an aside Fisherman, the WaA103 mags are not easy to find and command a premium, as do the even harder to find WaA613 mags.

Appreciate the insight gentlemen, the gun came with the later but I acquired the other mag along the way. Probably get rid of the other mag while I’m still thinning the herd.
