EOD - bombs and bullets
Being an ordnance guy, I've been chasing a Panzerfaust 60 for a long time...they have really dried up, and usually ones you do see are very rough, and if you find one that isn't rough, the price is crazy...
IMA came out with these repro's a while ago, and they seemed pretty solid on their website, but those who know, know...IMA has been known to play fast and loose...but I figured I better try to get on before they sell out, so I rolled the dice and snagged one.
It came it and I was very pleasantly surprised...its is really well done. Tube is steel, and heavy duty, fully marked and very accurate as far as sight and trigger mechanism. The rocket itself is metal, and two pieces, warhead and fin assembly. It does come out, but has spring steel fins, and they are a bitch to get rolled up, and back in the tube, so I didn't pull the fin section out. It is in there tight, why mess with it. The join between the warhead and fin/motor assembly is a bit wonky and loose, I may JB Weld that joint together to make it more solid.
All in all if you'd like a Panzerfaust to put in the war room, I cannot recommend this one enough...they also make a Panzerschreck repro that looks interesting...maybe I'll snag one of those too to check out, it looks solid, but they are pretty big and unwieldy, so we'll see...
