I'm curious about this too, would love to go next year.Im definitely headed to the SOS next year. In regards to German WW1 and WW2 collector grade rifles, was there a large variety? Or somewhat slim pickings?
From what I saw there were quite a few rifles from both of those eras of collecting. Some of the dealers will also hold stuff back till Friday for the public. Definitely worth attending for anybody that's interested in military history. And don't forget to look in the display cases as well. I bought some killer muzzle covers at the show doing that.Im definitely headed to the SOS next year. In regards to German WW1 and WW2 collector grade rifles, was there a large variety? Or somewhat slim pickings?
That is the Mike Steves k98k lol. But honestly it's a cool depot rifle. I'll tell more about it in a separate thread. What’s the 98k?
From the words of Mike Foley. "Don't forget to look in those cases!"Last year was my year for SOS. This year was your year. I’ll have to save up some more money next time so you have some competition lol. Im gonna get me one of those muzzle lids next year.
You had my curiosity but now you have my attention. Can't wait to see your thread on that depot K98K!That is the Mike Steves k98k lol. But honestly it's a cool depot rifle. I'll tell more about it in a separate thread.
Thank you Mike, and sorry to hear about the health issues that your dog is dealing with. Hope your puppy gets to feeling better soon.Congrats on completing your 1914 G98 set & your pickups from the show! I'd planned on attending but our dog tore his ACL & the soonest surgery (TPLO) available was last Friday. Now for the 3 month recovery & all that entails...
