I have a 1917 dated Kornbusch G98. Mine must have went to Turkey after WWI as it has a crescent moon on the bolt knob.

I believe the Kornbusch Company is still in business..

You should start a thread for your 1917 WOK and post some photos. If only the bolt is marked then there’s a fair chance it didn’t go to the Turks.
Kornbusch Co didn’t survive the war, changed to Waffenwerke Oberspree.

This WOK/16 sold in 2020, well it was auctioned anyway, it is a fine example to be sure, fairly late production in 1916 too (early i-block is the high, later in the suffix ranges the fewer known)

Do (pic) the lower flat of the bolt stem? Acceptance patterns are stable for WOK so should be Crown / B ( one C/F in this range though), but good to confirm; barrel code would be in front of the rearsight (like all Berlin makers mid-war), almost for sure Krupp blank.

I would check that? I recall I bought this with my son at a Virginia show in 2017 or 18 before the pandemic.

Looks like Scotty-- would make sense if he had it set up at a show in VA. Was probably cross-posted on his website and sold at the show first to Yuma.
