Walnut BYF 44 c block

Wanted to share my Walnut stock, matching numbers BYF 44 98k. A common code and year, but the Walunt stock and excellent condition makes it one of my favorites. The stock is numbered in the barrel channel, I took the numbered handguard off to show numbers. Excellent bore with on import stamp. It’s been in my collection for twenty years. Please share comments.

I was going to say, that got to be some of the sharpest stock cutouts I've ever seen. Very nice!
 
I think anyone here would be thrilled to find a byf 44 in walnut that's as nice as yours, that is a seriously sweet rifle. Congrats on picking up a real beauty!
 
It’s ok Bob, very nice BYF 45! Always love seeing excellent examples of 98ks. That’s why I post some of my collection, so other collectors can comment, compare and post there’s.
