M42 SS helmet opinions needed

Need help with this one, coming out of an old collection and I need assistance verifying its authenticity. I have included the best pictures I have including maker mark and lot number. Let me know your thoughts! Thanks in advance!

I'm not a big helmet collector but I am not crazy about this one. Decal looks too large. And maker marks are suspect to me. Hope I am wrong though.

The news is not good; fake liner, fake paint, fake SS decal. Original shell that should be in no-decal territory, either Green-Gray or Slate gray.

As has been stated. When I asked the first thing to look at is the shell stamps. The decal is the last thing to look at. The last ckl SS helmets seem to end in the late 2k lot range possibly early 3k range the decal drop is around 3500k range. No NS or hkp or Q m42's ever. Only ckl and EF.

REVISION-11 of the lot# book is available and now we have far more accuracy in these matters than we had in the past.
