New member from CO

Hi everyone.

Joining here as recommended by a Mauser K98K FB group member.

I don’t have a K98K yet, but I really want one and I’m starting to seriously look.
I know I want to have a German-made, WWII-dated (preferably 1943), but not very sure what I should be looking for.
What things should I avoid? Are fakes a big concern?

Anyway, I’d really like to hear your advice and opinions. Thank you in advance for your time.

Also, looking forward to becoming more educated on the 98K and part of the community.
