Hey,
I tried searching but i couldn't find a thread on this. I recently moved to a new place but somehow during the move, the top of the barrel near the bayonet lug received some scratches / gouges that went through to the shiny metal and some of the blueing looks like it rubbed off a little bit. I have a gew98m but i figured i would post here since it's more active plus the k98k's are blued as well. Any good ideas to hide those? i was thinking about just using a birchwood pen just to fill the scratches so they don't rust as easily and blend it in the surrounding , cleaning, oiling, and just calling it a day.
