1938 G.12/34 opinion

Hello all,

I'd appreciate your opinion about a 1938 G.12/34.
I read some threads about the 1938 G.12/34 and the possibility of fakes.
The serial number is 505 without letter. It seems to be matching number but it seems to be re stamped too.

what a beauty… looks good to me, but i’ll let the others make a call on it 👍🏻 Where do you see a restamp?

I found some threads about G29 and i saw two types of stamp for 660 and the 1938 date.
So i ask the question about these 660 and 1938 date stamps.
Do we have two kind of stamp for a 1938 G29 ?

I know nothing about G29s, but look at the pitting visible on the side of the receiver near the serial number, but there is none on top of the receiver. It has been milled down and restamped. Notice how crisp the date and code stamps are.

660 1938 look extrange ok, but the rest of gun numbers look properly I guess, or is an new level of fakery?.
In case that all parts with serial numbers are good, why fake the 660 1938?

For 660 1938, it is not the first time i saw this king of stamp
The same type of letter

Why fake 660 1938, perhaps because we have less 660 1938 than 660 1939.

Thanks for the link, as you see oddities exist ( 2 examples in your link ), very similar, so they are original or faked together long time ago????
This seller normally sales many "upgrades" faked obviously, but sometimes he could have good stuff....this kind of rifle is not necessary to be faked due it's rarity (€€€€€$$$$$), my thoughts only

No, only one example in the link. Same number at two different times to have a better picture.
Yes this seller is known to have a lot of upgraded weapons... That is why i am asking to have more answers, even if it is rarity, it is possible to be faked.
Perhaps both were faked by the same person due to the similarity of 1938 and 660, especially the 3.

Yes all is possible, never say never, but due his way to "upgrade" guns the 660 1938 are not done by him as he is not so "purist".....I guess that there is a chance to be 100% original, maybe a not well calibrated stamping die....

Bonjour ,
Je regarde moi aussi cette annonce , le problème aujourd'hui c'est que tout est suspect !
Personnellement je dirais qu'il est bon ....
