Dk MP43/1

That’s because the 43/1 has a different barrel profile than the 43/44 series. I believe they used leftover mkb42 barrel blanks for the 43/1s
Yeah i was aware of that. Just figred the threads would be the same, it makes sense they are larger i think its a m16x1.5mm

Yesterday i purchased the french reproduction of the zf41 mount for the mkb/mp43/1. I wanted to have to scope assembly for fun even though it never made it out trials.
If it has the rails for it then that's a cool add on. My own MP43/1 has no rails. I guess just a bit too late production and that idea was already tossed, but if it had a rail I'd have that repro mount for it.

Went out to the range and shot 20 rounds of hornady and 30 rounds of 61 dated East German ammo. Not a single malfunction and groupings at 100 yards were great. Only weird thing is the trigger is surprisingly light and if you let of the trigger slow to feel it reset, you may bump fire. But it wasnt the trigger what so ever. Fantastic rifle, making a video soon.

Mount on the rifle. The back of the mount where it stops is supposed to be at the same angle as the rear sight tower. So it stops early. Its tight starting and gets loose the closer to being locked into place.
