New to the mauser game and I need some people with more knowledge:
I picked up a pawn shop hunting rifle, Mauser Mod 98 in 7x57.
Receiver marked CE 44 on top
What looks like waffenampt, serial number and proof mark on left side
Kanji looking proofs on right side
Barrel has P2 stamped on top
Butter knife bolt handle
Two position thumb safety right side of receiver.
Aftermarket trigger that goes off when you touch it.
