1945 Ammo Pouch RBNr. 0/0267/0001

An excellent ammo pouch acquired from an ebay seller I met in person, sewn construction and marked with a unique abbreviation for Reichsbetriebsnummer, RB(b,t?)r.Nr. 0/0267/0001 for Gustav Schiele, Loburg. This example is a more traditional mixed sewn and riveted construction. Leather is incredibly supple and feels brand new. Interior is typical undyed leather.

Interesting to see that some of the manufacturers were turning out a high quality product with good materials right up to the end.

Interesting marking should be Btr. probably as its Betriebs.

The sewing and hardware on this one is quite excellent, and it is very high quality thick leather, its as stiff as the standard double backed pouches almost, while some others I have would fall apart in a few days of combat I suspect.

That's quite possible, it is hard to tell with the pebbling. If it is a "t" it is for sure stylized as there is no room or impression for the left part of the "t". To me it looked like a fully rounded "b" but the pebbling pattern does line up to create that perception. There is a second "b" in the word but a "t" does make more sense as an abbreviation.
