I would've slammed on the breaks if the rifling wasn't crisp. Glad I posted the pics here and asked for input. Doing otherwise just doesn't make sense.

Congrats on snagging it. Post some better pics once you've got it in your hands. They are very nice 98k variants

Just an aside, ya'll gave me great info. Wanted to say once again thank you for all who helped me make the decision to buy. The FN 7.62 K98 pattern rifle has become a favorite of mine!
