Waffen ss marked mauser

Hello, my first thread here.
im looking into buying a ss stamped gun.
The gun below has been offered to me, bit i imagine that there are probably loads of fakes around.
Do the attached markings look correct?
if someone could help out i would appreciate it.

looks familiar. I had another member from the Netherlands reach out to me with three different G/k DH conversions. This is one . two were real with issues.. MM parts rust poor cleaning. the other was fake. Gew98 mod. with bad stamps.

The barrel also has a hole drilled in it. Deactivated weapon. BUT it looks good and the serial number error on the barrel is interesting.

Retail price of a sling is EUR 200.
EUR 1600 for a deactivated rifle is a bit expensive. In France, the price of an all-matching K98k in good and firing condition is around EUR 1000.

It is sold without the sling, and its deactivated. So i think that 1800 is a bit much. Even tho its ss marked

Yes, quite funny, rear sight leaf is numbered 6511.

Could u tell me what a fair price for it would be? Its in the netherlands and deactivated.

I'm sorry, I couldn't even make a fair guess. G d'O threw out 1000 Euros and he'd certainly have a better idea since he's on the continent.

It does not but it is in comparable condition and not deactivated.
For me, the deactivation means a significant discount. However, there are people in Europe who are ready to pay big money for a deactivated rifle, just because they cannot own a live weapon. In short, it depends on you.

If you really like, buy it.
Looking back, sometimes you regret not pulling out your wallet.
You might not see another one like it for a long time or at all and it might cost a lot more.
Sometimes you change your mind in a day or two, and are happy not buying it as well.
