Got my carbine back

Well, sort of in a way. I had one of these modified prussian chassepot Kar71 conversion carbines in my collection. But, I ended up trading it for a killer unit marked 1913 Danzig kar98a with the dust cover. This one fits the bill as a very good replacement, very pleased it. Looks good in the rack with the other carbines too. Need to get a complete thread posted up on it when I get a chance. Also on a few very cool Gew98s too.

Yeah that one is on the list lol. Haven't had a lot of free time unfortunately. We're starting to slow down after four years lol

When you come home after hanging one of these for one of your customers. You don't really feel like taking pictures at the end of the day. You feel like having a scotch to get rid of that headache you have. And yes, that's how it's held together. Those tiny little allen screws. Only a small count of 500 in total.
