Guys I have been building this data table for Oberndorf turret snipers.
If you would like to contribute would appreciate it.
You can PM with your data and will add it to the data table.
The completed table will be added to Volume IV and added as a sticky.

I have added examples of the Spandau depot acceptance stamps found on late 1943 and early 1944 Mauser assembled rifles.
In addition, an image of a typical assembler number found on late war turrets.

I think it may make it easier for some to understand what e.g. "Spandau Acceptance" is if you made a kind of legend or sample picture of what is one and what isn't one.
 
Byf 43 number 20465 l is in fact 20465 i
I think that the rest of the data entered on that rifle is correct to include matching scope assembly (w/o the i suffix in this case) LT Ajack scope non rework. I can also supply many other photos including the suffix on the bolt which is much more clearly an i rather than a L (l).
Also 47591 h byf 43 LT with factory matching scope assembly is not listed, maybe a reason for that but it is a perfectly original and untouched rifle. All matching except bolt. I also provide the scope serial number.

I'm curious how original does the rifle need to be to offer worthwhile data? For example my LT is a bolt, rear sight leaf and scope assembly mismatch with a sanded stock (matches internally but no external markings). Would it offer anything worthwhile in this context? Oddly the mismatched bolt is in the same letter block and is a "sniper bolt" with a shaved safety lever, for whatever that's worth.
 
Can be bolt or scope mismatch. In particular looking for trends on receiver and scope mount markings or acceptance patterns,
Of course the original bolt helps with the presence of the safety modification.
The more original the better but if you have a mostly original rifle, please post the data.

This will be an ongoing thread through the entire Volume IV cycle.
