PP and Mauser 1934 mags with factory errors

Hello,
I got these mags at the Tulsa gun show this weekend. I have a small collection of Mauser and Walther PP mags going. When I got these, I did not instantly know one mag of each of the PP and 1934’s had factory errors. Once I started looking at them, I noticed it. The sellers didn’t know either until I pointed the errors out.

The Mauser 1934 mag has the bullet witness holes on the wrong side and lower than normal on the mag body.

The PP mag’s identity and caliber designation are slightly off.

(The first photo shows the “normal” mag on the right for both manufacturers, and what they usually look like)

A high ranking Lefty would appreciate the opposite hand witness holes. A custom job? They aren’t simply on the wrong side but a mirror of the normal mag. Is that one not maker marked?

Yep, both Mauser 1934 mags have the floor plate logo “Mauser” stamped on them. One other person has suggested a left handed shooter may have ordered this mag. But, the holes are lower on the mag body as well.

I think the mags are fabricated by folding flat stock. Is is possible that the blank was loaded in the forming jig wrong side up to cause the holes to show up on the wrong side and then got past quality inspection? Just a theory....
