Acquired this from a very good and generous friend. It’s the second G43 variant I’ve owned. This particular example is an early matching DUV44 with threaded muzzle and is in nice shape. My friend acquired this from the late John Wall who in turn acquired it directly from the 10th Mountain vet (John’s neighbor). The vet picked it up in Italy in 1945. Pictures of the letter from the vet and the bringback paper are attached. I will get more photos of the stock stamps and such this weekend too.
