Wonderful that something like this can still pop up. One has to wonder what’s still out there.

Happy that JRL decided OH was a good place for this rifle. Other than the front band, the rifle looks quite nice.

Here are some things I like about this Jan. 1945 build:

Deeply scallped receiver
Less common barrel maker (44 N 206)
E/18 stamped in the stock's barrel channel
C* stock, w/ rod and hood (likely never taken off)
Sear is ch E/140 marked
FN bolt (blue) w/ WaA 140, and phosphated internals
Obligatory and scattered white garage paint

Awesome clean up! Man, those machining marks on the receiver are something else. Really cool.
