Happy that JRL decided OH was a good place for this rifle. Other than the front band, the rifle looks quite nice.

Here are some things I like about this Jan. 1945 build:
  • Deeply scallped receiver
  • Less common barrel maker (44 N 206)
  • E/18 stamped in the stock's barrel channel
  • C* stock, w/ rod and hood (likely never taken off)
  • Sear is ch E/140 marked
  • FN bolt (blue) w/ WaA 140, and phosphated internals
  • Obligatory and scattered white garage paint
