French 1945 Production K98k to Sniper Conversion

As the title suggests, I have a Mauser Oberndorf 1945 production that was one of the ones assembled with parts and proofed by the French post war. The girl is in rough shape, not parts matching, and from my understanding rare-ish albeit not collectible. I would like to have it gone through, restored, accurized (not necessarily by CMP vintage sniper rules, but I wouldn't want to do something like a bull barrel) and turned into a sniper clone that I can go hunting with/ target shoot with for fun. Any recommendations on a gunsmith in the US? Are any of the reproduction ZF39 scopes worth buying, or would I be better served buying something like a refurbished weaver K4 from vintagegunscopes? what would be the correct mount for this period in the war? Any and all information would be appreciated.

Post pics of your rifle. It'd be a shame to modify one that's restorable when there's so many out there that are more likely candidates for the build.

all the pictures I have say they're too big to post, none of the pictures I have ATM have anything particularly interesting to look at. Just a standard late war k98 with every possible stamped part

Pretty much all desktop or mobile platforms allow you to resize a picture. Should not be that big of an issue.
