HI, Need some help.

I want to buy a G33/40 form 945 1940. According to the seller the shaft is put together from three peaces of woold because of the wartime. Need some help to find out if the shaft is an original or that is some kind of story. Pictures of the shaft/Stock are available.

I don't know that I would recommend you buy this one (I wouldn't), but yes three piece stocks (and two piece stocks) were used on 1940 33/40s.

Thank you! Why would’nt you recommend it? Very hard to find in Europe these days

The background reminds me a very lot of a German gun dealer. I'd recommend you to post pictures of the serial number and model designation on the receiver, as well as of the serial on the bolt handle.

Edit: never mind, found it on his website. I don't think this rifle is worth the asking price of € 3800 (equals $ 4111), especially not to the heavily sanded stock, the force matched stock, new finish on the parts as well as the crude and ugly modern firing proof on the receiver.
