Sniper Turd from Buckeye190 Faker in Ohio

Would fool many, but bad in so many ways. The guy is an artist. Not worth the effort to list everything, but you get the idea or maybe others want to critique it. Would take a while.

Does anyone know anyone that has purchased one of his steamers?
I know of someone who almost purchased a rifle from him. 337 1940 SN 3024e. Rifle has bad external stock numbers. A pretty good fake…

The upper handguard numbers are bad and the numbers/laminate code inside of the stock is scrubbed.

As you can see from the pics he just barely pressed the numbers into the stock while it was wet to make it look like the wood swelled around the numbers because of age/moisture over time.

Edit: Only editing to say this guy is a grade A shitbird who goes out of his way to justify his actions through ridiculous leaps in logic. After confronting him about his actions several times in person I believe he is past saving and deserves to be ran out of every forum & collector community/show.

Unfortunately, I know this gentleman as well from the ogca shows. Over the years I've always had some great conversations with him. Maybe it was because we were around the same age group. But, seeing another thread again about him with fake rifles. Now, I'm just disappointed. To fall into that category of people. Not to mention assembling, and faking rifles to wilfully deceive somebody. That is a scumbag move to do, and dangerous to our hobby. These are the people that drive future collectors away from our hobby, and destroy it in the long run.

I suppose I “shouldn’t be like that” but once someone like this shamelessly offers a hot pile like that, I tend to skip over their listings. I suppose he might have something honest once in a while & I’ll miss it, but the turd stink makes me look away.

I wonder if his 237 1939 Luftwaffe was legit, seemed like it was but it's gone now. I was burned by this seller and since then I've stayed clear from him, even got advice from people such as Mr. Moore and was told not to pay but since I didn't want the strike against my account I went along with it. (Faked death head bnz 4 army contract, serial number "8616 i" rifle had humped bolt body, shroud, cocking piece, and safety. Think the firing pin was unmarked) was supposedly a Kurmark SS depot repaired rifle where it was marked in similar vein too SSZZA4 builds with the external serial number and totenkopf. Learned a lesson for myself after that and bought his supposed source and nothen matched what he said in volume 2b of chapter 12. He advises people too stay away from the forums when ya call him on the phone to discuss validity issues and when I did he mentioned that Bruce (THE Bruce) had looked at the rifle in person and said it was legitimate. Got burned by him once, not ever going too again, I hope he quits this hobby one day because everything he owns doesn't move.

The only common theme are all the lies. Most fakers have enough sense to back off for a while when they are caught. Of course they always go back at it when they have plausible deniability. At least he's consistent. You can say that pretty much everything he sells is a POS.

Can you post a pic of the DH stamp? I’d like to see what stamp he is using to fake DHs.

No longer have the rifle, I'll get in touch with Zeppelin because he posted pics of it on here for me before back in the 2020 ish time frame. If that doesn't work the local ATF field agent who is my FFL dealer friend/customer has it and I can get pics that way.
