Mike, Bruce and Stephan are hard at work on the final planned volume of the Karabiner 98k series. An addendum to the first three volumes with essential additions, clarifications and perhaps a few corrections.

Starting this thread for thoughts and suggestions on what information or other details should be included in the addendum. This is an invitation for open discussion as well as an opportunity to share your thoughts with the authors. With this in mind, what would you like to see included in Volume IV?

Several of the rifle tables seemed to be missing information, and information regarding bayonet lugs seemed to be missing from manufacturers. For example there was a section for each maker regarding band markings, sights, etc, but nothing really photographing or mentioning bayonet lug serial numbers and when the transition to the simplified lug occurred at each maker.

This info above would also be great to have for cleaning rods. for example, when did they transition from L2D SN and WaA to just L2D, just WaA, and finally blank.
