Help Verifying if DWM 1908 Brazili contract is sanded.

Hi all,

The rifle itself is quite nice, decent condition & all matching. I'm looking at a very suspicious stock, would like the opinions of those with a trained eye. The cartouches appear to be well struck & deep, but the light color of the wood and smoothness of certain edges especially around the stock disc, give me a gut feeling that this is sanded. Let me know your thoughts please! Much appreciated

It looks like it has been cleaned very well to me I also see that a lot of small dents in the wood were raised. More pictures please.
 
These are the remaining photos that are shown. My gut tells me it could be sanded, but it's not as straight forward to me as other sanded stocks I've seen.
