I thought the same thing on how accurate it might, or might not be, but I’ve been surprised on how accurate this rifle actually is. and the trigger pole is better than pretty much all the rifles I own except my barrett.Yes I plan to shot mine with a repro mount. I know it’s not going to be super accurate but I don’t care. Just like the look of it.
And you may not have to wait 2 years if you can find a dealer who has them.
For a stamped sheet metal rifle the Germans definitely got it right. My only complaint on the whole rifle is that the hand guard does get hot after 30 rounds. I was able to mitigate it with using some stick on exhaust heat shield that I applied to the inside of the hand guard and then poked holes through it, where the heat vents are definitely helps.
