WOW! Looks pretty damn nice! What's your impression of overall quality? Esthetically, it looks very true to the original.

So basically, these are German SSD made guns 'Americanized' per 922R for sale here?
 
Matt, an amazing reproduction. Looks identical to my 43. Is it still tipping bolt operation with modified trigger group?
How much for the base rifle and how long a wait, if you don’t mind.
Show some pics of the bolt group and internals if you can.
 
Rifles are 6200. My plan is to wait until they offer more options after this initial batch, was talking to the Owner at SOS and he was discussing tentative plans for phosphate finishes and other things available down the road.

Nice, let us know how it shoots. I need to pickup a 10 round Mag for my PTR44 and get it out to the range again.
 
Wow, that is stunning. Congrats on picking up such a beauty! Any plans for the later 2 tone StG44s? I'd definitely be saving for one if I wasn't saving up to get out of my AWB state (IL).
 
If you’re looking for a magazine loader sarco has the only one that I found that works. The ones I got off of GB totally suck.
Other than that have fun shooting it you’re going to love it.

Wow! Well, I would hope that means they're selling well! I tentatively have my eyes set on their Mkb42 but I loathe to think what the wait time would be for one of those!

The Mkb42 will be awesome. He was telling me today that it is a tough rifle to re-make because essentially the originals are so terrible. Lol

And many of his Mp44s are sold to dealers I guess. So I suppose you will be able to find them at some gun stores? Wonder if they will be the same price or more.
 
Yeah I would assume there would be a markup!

And that's interesting regarding the Mkb42! Haha! I had assumed reengineering the Mkb42 from open bolt to closed bolt while presumably somehow maintaining the same FCG could be a challenge as well!

Sounds like I have 2 years to get the hell out and save up for one. Definitely looking forward to a range report on this one. Do you plan on using a repro mount and optic with the side rail?

Also, if they're reverse engineering from Mkb42s, that's got to be a really tough one as they only 10,000 of them to begin with and I can only imagine how rough some of the surviving examples are.
 
Yes I plan to shot mine with a repro mount. I know it’s not going to be super accurate but I don’t care. Just like the look of it.

And you may not have to wait 2 years if you can find a dealer who has them.

Not in my state, got to save up to leave this place before they find a way to make it even worse.
