DK Mp44 semi?

Is this something I could still partake in if my current residence is in an AWB state but would hopefully be in a different residence or have transferred out of state when these do finally go into production?

$500 deposit on a 6.2K rifle.

Have any been delivered as of yet? I'm in if these are not vaporware.

FYI, I've bought a bunch of parts and receiver flats from Dingo in the past.

I've never had anything but positive interactions with Dingo and I have absolutely no doubt that he is trying his best to bring these to fruition. But I also know from doing many online detailed posts that people look at pretty pictures and often ignore the text. Be aware that your $500 deposit is non-refundable, he's telling you that upfront. Don't be angry at him later if you change your mind or your state pulls shenanigans and tries to outlaw the rifle you are trying to purchase and you can't get your money back.

I’m not an StG connoisseur. What’s with the two-tone finish on the gun in the YT video?

Could be anything I suppose, likely a test rifle I reckon. Could also be a custom order two tone which is a legitimate look for late war rifles.

@Kaktus

It’s a clone of a late gun. Phosphate and blued parts are common on late 44, and 45 German firearms. The MP/stg was assembled with a conglomeration of subcontracted parts. Subcontractors were finishing or not finishing parts at all due to late war shortages. Toward the end of the war you’ll find guns with a mix of phosphate, blueing and sometimes even parts in the white/bare steel. We all love a multi tone gun.
