Here is a rifle that I have had for roughly 2 years. For some reason never got around to fully photographing it until today. It was an adoption from Mike (feldmutze). People that recognize Mikes handle here know of his outstanding Gew98 collection that he had and sold off pretty much all of it to members here. Turns out he knew a really good K98k when he saw it! This was his only 98k that he had in his collection and I was lucky enough to end up with it. This example makes my second dot 43 in walnut that I owned, after picking this one up I passed my other example off to a member here. This one is almost minty and features an awesome chunk of walnut. The rifle also wears a really nice 1943 dated sling. I will let the photos do the rest of the talking……. Enjoy!

Thanks for posting.

Im a big fan of dot43 rifles in walnut. These are the first full production rifles with all stamped components .. Some may disagree but, from my observations they are. This one lacks the stamped and welded H band.

This rifle I sought for probably 10 yrs. I bugged the chap in VA (orig owner) every few years, and my last attempt I heard it was sold. It's in good hands w/ Jory. I traveled to SD last year for a visit and saw this one in person. It's actually better in hand! Congrats
