the scope and base wont be numbered but the mounts were numbered. there are some variations of scopes only used on certain rifles or mounts; Gustloff vs Sauer production, machined ring vs narrow / wide “banded rings” etc. Im not up on all the details. Honestly any base, mount, scope...
i would consider a new post in the sniper section. better chance the pros will see it sooner. i would say dont clean anything without input from here. Dont touch the wood or disassembly disc. I wouldnt even clean the metal until u get some advice on cleaning phosphate finished rifles. apparently...
i agree w Mauserguy85. looks to me like a late Gustloff Long Side Rail sniper. I am no expert either, i own a vetted Sauer LSR, i have examined 2 other LSRs, but im not versed enough to make the call to its originality. There are plentyof folks here who can make that call though.
